Community Support Leads to Citizenship Day Success
Community Support Leads to Citizenship Day Success
6/26/2009
On May 30, 2009, the Washington New Americans program, in coordination with AILA-Washington, held a Citizenship Day in Mount Vernon, Pasco, Lacey, and Vancouver (WA). That day, approximately 300 individuals received naturalization application assistance and/or information about the citizenship process. We would like to thank the following organizations and businesses for their in-kind support of Citizenship Day:
- Clark College, Vancouver
- Lacey Senior Center
- Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon
- SeaMar Motel, Pasco
- ConAgra Foods
- National Council of la Raza
Thank you for helping make Citizenship Day such a success!
