What are citizenship days?

Citizenship Day is a FREE, day-long workshop where volunteer immigration attorneys, paralegals, and interpreters come together to provide assistance with citizenship applications. All lawful permanent residents (“green card” holders) interested in applying for U.S. citizenship are welcome to participate.

The Washington New Americans Program is a partnership between OneAmerica and the Washington State Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Since the program began in 2008, we have held workshops across Washington State, including Aberdeen, Bellingham, Bremerton, Centralia, Des Moines, Mount Vernon, Moses Lake, Olympia, Pasco, Port Angeles, Renton, SeaTac, Seattle, Spokane, Sunnyside, Tacoma, Tukwila, Vancouver, Walla Walla, Wenatchee, White Center, and Yakima, and helped more than 3,000 people apply for citizenship
